Jan Dane, Managing Director of Creative Services, manages clients’ marketing, public relations, and communications needs. She has more than 15 years experience in the creative and media arena, having worked in web, radio, video, magazine and book publishing. Her career began in the publicity department of a major record label in Los Angeles, before spending time in New York helping produce documentaries on social issues, managing the relationships website for Hearst Magazines, and serving as a reporter and a columnist for ABCNEWS.com.
Prior to joining Clarendon Group, Jan was the director of foundation relations for the literary magazine Merlyn's Pen. She also wrote and photographed the book, “eat.shop.rhode island.”
Jan received her B.A. in Broadcast Studies from Gonzaga University.
