John T. Longo, Managing Director of Government Relations, offers expert government and community relations support to clients whose causes are debated in the public realm. As an advocate and a lobbyist, he advances clients’ positions through the media, before regulatory bodies, and in the legislature. John honed his persuasive skills as campaign manager for congressional, state-wide, and county-wide candidates in Illinois, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts.
John also maintains a law practice focused on consumer and regulatory issues. In that capacity he currently serves as deputy legal counsel to the Rhode Island Coastal Resources Management Council and in the 1990’s he served as deputy legal counsel in the Executive Office of the Governor of Rhode Island.
John received a B.A. in Public Affairs from George Washington University and a J.D. from DePaul University.
